Jetumo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides website hosting, WordPress management, content creation, SEO, and related digital services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “Client”) and Jetumo.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Service Description

2.1 WordPress Hosting Services

Jetumo provides managed WordPress hosting services including but not limited to:

  • Server space allocation
  • WordPress installation and configuration
  • Website maintenance and technical support
  • Security monitoring and optimization
  • Performance optimization
  • Backup and restoration services
  • Updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins
  • Content management services (depending on subscription level)
  • Basic SEO implementation (depending on subscription level)

2.2 Domain Registration and Management

When you purchase domain registration services through Jetumo:

  • We act as an intermediary between you and domain registrars
  • You remain the legal registrant of any domain names registered through our Services
  • Domain registration is subject to the terms and policies of the relevant domain registrar and registry
  • We manage DNS settings and technical configuration on your behalf

2.3 Add-on Services

Additional services such as content creation, backlink acquisition, and SEO optimization are provided according to the specific package purchased and are subject to the limitations outlined in your service agreement.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Services, you must create an account providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

3.2 Account Security

You agree to:

  • Use strong passwords
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensure your contact information remains current

Jetumo is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to maintain account security.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Compliance with Laws

You agree to use our Services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. You are solely responsible for the content of your website and ensuring it complies with relevant laws.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Conduct phishing, spamming, or fraudulent activities
  • Store or distribute content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Host illegal adult content or material exploiting minors
  • Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or vulnerability scanning
  • Engage in activities that may disrupt our Services, servers, or networks
  • Use excessive computational resources beyond reasonable usage
  • Circumvent or disable any security features
  • Resell our Services without written authorization

4.3 Content Restrictions

Content published through our Services must not:

We reserve the right to temporarily limit resources that negatively impact server performance.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Fees

Service fees are as stated on our website or in your service agreement. We reserve the right to change our fees with 30 days’ notice for existing clients.

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in advance for the relevant subscription period
  • We accept major credit cards and other payment methods specified on our website
  • Subscription services automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date
  • You authorize us to store your payment information for recurring charges
  • All fees are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
  • New Zealand customers will be charged the applicable GST rate

5.3 Late Payments

Accounts with outstanding payments may be suspended after 7 days and terminated after 30 days. Reactivation of suspended accounts may incur additional fees.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

New accounts are eligible for our 30-day money-back guarantee under the following conditions:

  • The request is made within 30 days of initial account creation
  • The guarantee applies only to hosting and WordPress management fees
  • Third-party costs (domains, premium plugins, etc.) are non-refundable
  • Content creation, SEO, and backlink services already delivered are non-refundable
  • Accounts displaying excessive resource usage or violating our Terms are ineligible

6.2 Pro-rated Refunds

After 30 days, for pre-paid services, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of your pre-payment, less any applicable fees and costs, at our discretion.

6.3 Domain Registration

Domain registration fees are non-refundable due to the immediate registration with domain authorities.

7. Term and Termination

7.1 Term

The term of service begins upon account creation and continues until terminated by either party.

7.2 Termination by Client

You may terminate your account at any time by doing the following:

  • Cancelling through your Client Portal Dashboard
  • Submitting a cancellation request to Jetumo Support via email
  • Providing written notice as specified in your service agreement

7.3 Termination by Jetumo

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • Immediately for Terms violations
  • With 30 days’ notice for any reason
  • Immediately for illegal activities
  • After 30 days of non-payment

7.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • All fees due become immediately payable
  • Access to Services will cease
  • We will provide a one-time export of your website data upon request within 30 days
  • After 30 days post-termination, we reserve the right to delete all data

8. Data Backup and Loss

8.1 Backup Services

While we maintain regular backups of client websites as part of our service, these backups are primarily for disaster recovery purposes.

8.2 Limitation of Liability for Data Loss

You acknowledge that:

  • No backup system is 100% reliable
  • You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical content
  • We are not liable for data loss resulting from backup failures, despite our reasonable efforts
  • We recommend downloading regular local backups of critical website data

8.3 Data Retention After Termination

We retain client data for 30 days following account termination, after which we reserve the right to delete all data permanently.

9. Service Level Agreement

9.1 Uptime Commitment

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our hosting services, excluding scheduled maintenance.

9.2 Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance is typically performed during low-traffic periods. We will provide advance notice for significant maintenance that may impact service availability.

9.3 Support Response Times

We aim to respond to support inquiries within the following timeframes:

  • Standard support: 24 hours
  • Technical issues: 12 hours
  • Critical issues: 4 hours

Actual response times may vary based on issue complexity and service tier.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Client Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to our Services. You grant us a limited license to host, back up, and process your content solely for providing our Services.

10.2 Jetumo Intellectual Property

Our website, platform, and Services contain materials owned by Jetumo or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without authorization.

10.3 Content Created For Clients

Content created by Jetumo on behalf of clients (articles, images, etc.) becomes the property of the client upon full payment, subject to any third-party licensing restrictions.

11. Affiliate Program

11.1 Participation

Participation in our affiliate program requires acceptance of separate Affiliate Terms, which include:

  • Commission structure and payment terms
  • Marketing guidelines and restrictions
  • Compliance requirements
  • Termination conditions

11.2 Commissions

Affiliate commissions are paid according to our current commission structure for qualifying referrals that convert to paying customers.

11.3 Affiliate Conduct

Affiliates must not:

  • Make false or misleading claims about our Services
  • Engage in spam or unauthorized advertising
  • Bid on trademarked terms in search engines
  • Create websites or content that may confuse visitors into believing they are official Jetumo properties

11.4 Commission Withholding

We reserve the right to withhold commissions for affiliate activities that violate our Terms or for accounts with suspected fraudulent activity.

12. Third-Party Services

12.1 Integration of Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with third-party services or software. Use of such integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

12.2 Third-Party Applications

While we may recommend or facilitate installation of third-party applications (plugins, themes, etc.), we are not responsible for their functionality, security, or compatibility.

12.3 Global Infrastructure and Datacenters

Our Services utilize a global infrastructure with datacenters and servers located in multiple regions including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. This allows us to provide optimal performance, reliability, and redundancy.

While we select reputable datacenter providers in each region, we cannot guarantee against failures within these systems. By using our Services, you acknowledge that:

  • In the event of a datacenter failure in one region, your data may be served from another geographic location

While we utilize reliable datacenter providers across multiple geographic regions (New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands) to enhance reliability, we are not liable for service disruptions resulting from regional datacenter failures, power outages, network issues, or other infrastructure problems beyond our direct control. Our multi-region infrastructure is designed to minimize these risks, but cannot eliminate them entirely.

13.3 Financial Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims related to our Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the applicable Service during the 12 months prior to the claim.

13.4 Exclusions

Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

15.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

  • Our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from using our Services will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in our Services will be corrected

15.3 Consumer Guarantees Act

For customers in New Zealand, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, to the extent that these rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. Where you acquire our Services for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.

15.3 Technical Support Disclaimer

While we provide technical support for our Services, we cannot guarantee resolution of all technical issues, particularly those related to third-party software or custom configurations.
